ਇਕ ਵੇਰ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਰਮ ਪਵਿਤ੍ ਗੂਜਰੀ ਜੀ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਅਰਾਧਨ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਪਾਠ ਕਰਨ ਲਗੇ। ਜਪੁਜੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਭੋਗ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕੀਤਾ।ਪਾਠ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਤੁਕ ਦੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਐਸਾ ਸੰਤ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਤੈਸਾਸੁਵਰਨੁ ਤੈਸੀ ਉਸੁ ਮਾਟੀ ਤੈਸਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਤੈਸੀ ਬਿਖੁਖਾਟੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਣ ਹੋਵੇ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪਰਖ ਦਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਚਾਹੀਏ। ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਡਿਆਈਆਂ ਸੁਤੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਜੀਵ ਸੈਣੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਸ ਪਦ ਪਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਤ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਉਚਿਤ ਹੈ । ਇਤਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਜਦ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਜੀ ਅਪਨੇ ਮਹੱਲਾਂ ਵਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੋ ਦਰਵਾਜੇ ਅਗੋਂ ਲੰਘੇ ਤਾਂ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ। ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬੈਠਣ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ, ਕਿ ਮੇਰੋ ਸਿਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਧੇਸਾਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ-ਪਦ ਦੇ ਰਤਨ ਹਨ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੰਧਾਊ ਵਾਂਙੂ ਕੋਈ ਅਜ ਟੁਰਿਆ ਹੈ,ਕੋਈ ਦਸ ਬਰਸ ਤੋਂ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀਹ, ਪੰਥੀ,ਤੀਹ ਤੋਂ।ਇਸਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਈ ਪਿਛਲੇਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਘਾਲਾਂ ਘਾਲਦੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਕਈ ਪਰਮ ਪਦ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਂ ਪੁਰਖਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਇਕ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਾਏ ਜਾਣ।

Having indulged Japuji Sahib, recited Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji. Satguru has all these glories, but it is appropriate to see a saint who has reached this position among Jiva Saini. After the end of the Diwan, when Shri Guru Kalgidharji came to his palace and Mataji passed two doors ahead, he bowed down to Mataji. Mother motioned to sit. Shri Satguru Ji knew that in the form of my Sikhs, there are gems of sainthood of every kind. Some have walked like a path, some for ten years, some for twenty, Panthi, thirty. are coming, many are close to supreme positions. But Mata ji should be shown the darshan of one of the top nobles.
